Singapore - December 8, 2006. It was an unforgettable moment for the trio of Yellow人 to finally meet the Grammy Award-Winning band, Casting Crowns, whose first appearance here in Asia was a pleasant surprise and a welcome to many. The band was in Singapore to perform two nights of concerts at a local church.

During their one-week stay in Singapore, the staff of Yellowren Productions played host to the band members, accompanying them on sightseeing tours and shopping trips. The time of interaction with Pastor Mark Hall, the songwriter and lead vocalist of Casting Crowns and their team members was indeed an extraordinary and inspirational learning experience for us.

Yellow人 had recorded a cover version of Casting Crowns’ radio hit “Praise You in This Storm” in their latest album release, “Destination”. This song was written for 11-year old Erin Edwards who had struggled with bone cancer for several years before passing away in fall 2005. Through the storm, the unwavering faith of Erin’s heartbroken mother, Laurie, touched Pastor Hall deeply and inspired him to pen the lyrics to the song. He added, “if there ever were a test of our faith- if there were a test of the motives of our worship - it is when a storm rolls into our lives.”
