Singapore- February 23, 2007. Yellow人 launched its 2007 Destination Tour at Evangel Family Church, Singapore to an appreciative crowd of 1300. Accompanied by eye-catching digital motion graphics, Chan Mong Yee, Zhang Zhi Gang and Dayna Lim breathe energy into the atmosphere with Tree63’s “Look What You’ve Done For Me”. The trio’s refreshing vocals, emotive music and choice lyrics as heard in their albums was certainly effectuated into tangibility during the evening.

 

The musical strength of Mong Yee’s (lead vocalist/songwriter) original compositions was a distinct highlight. Spearheading the band were Golden Horse nominated film scorist, Ricky Ho and ex-Air Supply guitarist, Rex Goh. The event was punctuated by an interval of interactive fun with the audience where iPods were given away as prizes. However, the biggest highlight was Yellow人’s honest sharing of life experiences that gave realism and purpose for each song performed. The live concert concluded with the similar vibrancy as how it began as Yellow人 together with the passionate crowd belted out the mandarin cover of Casting Crowns' “Praise You In This Storm”.
