Brisbane- June 22, 2007. It was clear blue skies as Yellow人 and the production team hit the road for Sunshine Coast, driving through pristine sun-drenched beaches, tranquil hinterland and quaint coastal towns before arriving at the CVC Asia Pacific Broadcast Centre at Maroochydore. The 1000 square metre complex built on three acres of land surrounded by lush greenery was certainly an ideal workplace for the staff of CVC Network Ltd. Upon arrival, Yellow人 and its team was warmly welcomed by CVC’s multi-cultural staff as they mingled freely over lunch.

CVC Network Ltd is well recognised as a World Class International Radio Broadcaster engaging audiences with a pre-evangelistic approach of news, music and information. Its facilities provide the programming, production and broadcast for three major language services that are broadcasted to China, Indonesia, India, Pakistan, Africa and also many other countries. The team was given a tour around its facilities and was enthralled by the digital cutting edge technology of CVC. Yellow人 and its Concert Music Director, Ricky Ho, were also scheduled for separate interviews that would be broadcasted to China. Broadcasts are up linked via satellites to the CVC transmitter site where they are beamed out in an analogue short wave format which then reaches the short wave radios of potentially billions of listeners.

As one tours around the premises, one bound to notice many similar pieces of canvas art hanging on the walls of CVC in different parts of its complex. Although the artworks were by different artists, they depict the similar theme of “souls”, a reminder of CVC’s strategy to “Touch a Billion.” Yellow人 and its team were indeed blessed by this visit and the hard work put in by their main host, Angela Chen, a Senior Producer at CVC, to organize Yellow人’s Destination Tour 2007 Brisbane. Despite being a short trip, it was extremely purposeful to partner with CVC and the local churches to fulfill the vision of impacting the Asian Communities with a message of faith and hope.
